About the Team

The Accounts Payable team manages all Workday global invoices, supplier profiles, and supplier settlements while driving projects related to automation and efficiencies. The team partners with Workday on Workday (WoW) and Product teams to improve, test, and uptake Workday functionality.

About the Role

Workday is seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Analyst who wants to make their mark on a growing organization. The Senior Analyst will be a process leader, quality analyst, and a decision maker in a role that combines finance operations, systems, and projects. The candidate should be a self-starter, excellent communicator, and enjoy collaborating with people with a diverse set of talents, in an ambitious fast-paced environment.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Identify and lead AP projects, drive process improvement, build efficiencies, and innovate
• Establish strong working relationships and lead workstreams in cross-functional initiatives
• Review Workday releases and test upgrades
• Support financial close process and active involvement in analysis
• Influence business through positive relationships with internal customers and external vendors
• Participate in delivering accounting and organization goals
• Perform payment processing to ensure accurate and timely payments with a risk mitigation and fraud prevention approach

About You

Basic Qualifications

• Accounting/Finance or other business degree preferred
• 8+ years finance operations or related experience

Other Qualifications

• Proven experience in identifying and implementing process improvements preferred
• Strong Excel and G Suite skills
• Detailed and analytical person who thrives in solving complex problems
• Excellent and professional written and verbal communication skills
• Shown cross functional influence and presentation skills
• Shown experience to work well within target timelines
• Project management experience
• Exhibited passion for training and development for self and others
• Familiarity with conducting business as part of an international company is helpful
• Shown accounting and controls experience
