Job Description

Based in our Kissimmee location, the Human Resources Generalist plays a key role in supporting Team Member Services across both Kissimmee and Cocoa Beach. This is more than an HR support role; it is an opportunity to be a trusted partner, culture champion, and strategic contributor within a dynamic, multi-location environment.

You will collaborate closely with resort and corporate leaders and team members while partnering with our broader People & Culture team, including Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development, to deliver a seamless and engaging employee experience. From onboarding and employee relations to compliance, policy guidance, and workplace investigations, you will have meaningful impact across the full employee lifecycle. As a Human Resources Generalist, you will be responsible for the following essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Partner with leadership to resolve complex employee relations matters, including investigations, discipline, grievances, and union collaboration as applicable.
  • Lead investigations and ensure timely resolution with thorough, compliant documentation.
  • Respond to agency inquiries (e.g., EEOC, Department of Labor) and represent the company in unemployment hearings.
  • Interpret and apply employment laws (FMLA, FLSA, EEO, ADA) and company policies; advise leaders on compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Collaborate with benefits, payroll, and leave administration to address employee concerns, manage leave, and support workers’ compensation claims.
  • Maintain compliant HR documentation and recordkeeping practices.
  • Lead employee engagement initiatives and support corporate HR programs, including audits, policy updates, and process improvements.
  • Design and deliver training to support compliance, performance, and professional development.
  • Partner with leadership on performance management, year-end reviews, coaching, and career development.
  • Support day-to-day HR operations and other duties as assigned.

Experience

  • 2–5 years of progressive experience in relevant  Human Resources role.
  • Experience in hospitality or timeshare industry preferred.
  • Superb communication skills and the ability to read, write and speak English fluently. 
  • Bilingual (English & Spanish) strongly preferred. 

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP or PHR) preferred.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems; ADP experience preferred.
  • Ability to build trust and maintain effective relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to provide practical solutions.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and professionalism in handling sensitive and confidential matters.
