About the Role – Chief Technology Officer In this key leadership role, you'll bridge our vision and the technology needed to achieve it. You'll work directly with the CEO and executive team to develop and execute our technical strategy.
Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Leadership: Shape and lead the technical direction of our company, developing and implementing a comprehensive technical roadmap. Define technical strategies that align with business goals and ensure long-term growth. Oversee architectural decisions to ensure high performance, scalability, and security.
Team Leadership: Build, lead, and maintain a high-performance development team. Foster a collaborative and innovative engineering culture. Recruit, mentor, and retain top technical talent.
Project Leadership: Plan and oversee the execution of complex projects from inception to completion. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Implement best practices for project management, including Agile methodologies.
Support Sales and Marketing: Enable sales and marketing efforts with technical expertise. Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer needs and develop solutions. Provide technical support during sales pitches and client meetings.
Strategic Roadmap Supervision: Monitor roadmap progression and adjust to meet evolving business needs. Regularly review and update the technical roadmap based on feedback and market changes. Ensure alignment between technical and business goals.
Technology Adoption:Stay current with emerging technologies and trends, applying them where beneficial. Evaluate new technologies and tools to improve efficiency and performance. Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the team.
RequirementsAI/ML Expertise: Proven experience with AI/ML and Large Language Models (LLMs).Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and data processing.
Educational Background: Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Leadership Experience: Minimum of four years in a senior technological leadership role.Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
Technical Proficiency: Strong background in software engineering and infrastructure.Expertise in designing and implementing scalable software systems.
Team Management: Demonstrated success in building and managing high-performing development teams.Experience in fostering a positive and productive team environment.
Blockchain Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of blockchain technology and its applications.Familiarity with smart contracts and decentralized applications (DApps).
Cryptocurrency Proficiency: Proficient knowledge of cryptocurrency, including Web3 and DeFi.Understanding of cryptocurrency markets and trends.
Technical Skills: •Expertise in software development tools and version control (GitHub/GitLab).Experience with cloud services (AWS/Google •Cloud).Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, and Python.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills.Ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Language Proficiency: Fluency in English.
