A day in the Life:

• Partner with Operations leaders to drive operational performance, including setting direction on plant efficiency, operating expenses (Plant and Non-plant, direct and indirect), sourcing spend, capital expenditures (growth and maintenance) and inventory
• Contribute strategic insight and drive execution of integration activities related to the Division joining Thermo Fisher Scientific
• Drive the needed daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual operational rhythm to assure accountability for global COGS, Inventory, working capital performance vs. plan
• You will lead our standard cost roll process and physical inventory/cycle count program
• Ensure compliance with financial standards related to COGS, inventory and Capital
• Attract, develop, and retain talent. Lead team of 7+ finance and cost accounting professionals

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited university, or equivalent experience.

Experience

• 10 years providing finance partnership within large scale, global companies (5 years associated with manufacturing environments)

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• Expertise with ERP and financial consolidation systems (ie. SAP, JD Edwards, Hyperion), large data sets, and financial modeling.
• Ability to interact and connect with people at all levels. Have courage to communicate complicated issues and collaborate across teams.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

This role requires the ability to work onsite with up to 30% domestic/international travel.
