Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Information Security Manager to review and update security policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines.
• Research and evaluate applications and services used within the organization, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
• Support compliance monitoring and investigations to ensure adherence to security protocols and standards.
• Assist in conducting forensic analyses and gathering facts during security incidents.
• Participate in compliance audits to verify the organization meets established security controls.
• Record and track IT security incidents, including compromised accounts, email threats, and abuse reports.
• Stay informed on the latest security trends, vulnerabilities, and relevant regulations to help strengthen our security posture.

Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of Information Security or related fields such as IT Audit or Compliance.
• Familiarity with business continuity planning, auditing, or risk management is a plus.Strong written and oral communication skills for conveying complex security concepts clearly.
• Preference for full-time undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, or a related field.
• Full time availability onsite in Wilmington, NC from May 27, 2025 through August 15, 2025

The pay range for this role is based on relative market data and alignment with our compensation philosophy.
