Come Join Our Team 
We require a Senior Scheduler, to provide their expertise within our Scheduling team, as our Program activity has increased. Large projects within the Program require a seasoned, experienced Senior Scheduler.
 
What is the position? 
The Senior Scheduler joins a Team that is focused on keeping a very active, ever-changing Program, focused and organized, by maintaining a continuously evolving Schedule.  This position works within a Team of Schedulers to maintain a real-time schedule that is in constant evolution.  This schedule is critical in planning by the Client and Stakeholders.
 
What will I get to do?  

  • Performs a variety of project scheduling functions involving numerous schedules as they relate to multiple projects and contract engagements including data review, reporting, project coordination, budget review, and other related duties in support of the Project/Program Manager.
  • Provides support to the Project/Program Manager in planning, managing, and monitoring projects through its life cycle.
  • Works on overall project planning through creating, revising, and ongoing upkeep and reporting on project schedules and deliverables.
  • Briefs management on the status of action items and metrics to track contract performance.
  • Coordinates projects; develops system for data collection, reporting criteria and records; researches and compiles statistics and data for projects; may assist in writing narratives for reports.
  • Creates, updates, and performs 'care and feeding' of numerous project schedules and timelines; tracks document submissions; creates, monitors and maintains audit files.
  • Identifies, communicates and resolves risks. Identifies and resolves issues to eliminate or mitigate the occurrence of consequences that may impact the success of the project.
  • For program compliance, designs and implements procedures to fulfill project objectives and criteria; may prepare memorandums; works with agencies to resolve concerns and issues.
  • Prepares monthly variance reports with associated footnotes.
  • Evaluates and monitors the performance and efficiency of programs to ensure that program implementation as reflected in the project schedules are on target

 
What qualifications do I need? 

  • Ability to successfully pass the background investigation to obtain the Public Trust Security Clearance.
  • At least 5 years of related experience in Scheduling for IT based project/programs.
  • Experience with MS Project (stand alone and web versions) and/or Primavera
  • Experience with Scheduling teams (to include multiple Stakeholders teams); finessed in keeping integrity of schedule regardless of Client pressure to the contrary
  • Comfortable taking issues to boss and Program Manager WITH SUGGESTED SOLUTIONS for issue(s)
  • Self-starter; good chemistry with Client and other Stakeholders
  • Good communicator - able to clearly work with teams from the C-level to entry staff; excellent collaborator
  • Ability to easily move between separate project schedules seamlessly
  • Expert in following 'change ripple' throughout a schedule flow
  • US Citizenship

 
What additional characteristics will help me thrive?

  • Previous DHS or other Federal Contracting Scheduling a plus.

Compensation

$91,242.70 - $150,555.93
