As a Senior Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive bookkeeping services and maintaining financial records with precision and accuracy.

Keep in mind you would be hired as a contractor.

Responsibilities:

• Execute end-to-end bookkeeping processes, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.

• Perform data entry tasks to maintain an organized and up-to-date accounting system.

• Generate and process invoices, managing payment transactions efficiently.

• Handle deposit procedures with proper documentation and reconciliation.

• Utilize bill.com to enter and manage accounts payable, maintaining a streamlined workflow.

• Regularly reconcile bank accounts to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.

Must-have requirements:

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in various bookkeeping roles, demonstrating a deep understanding of financial accounting principles.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.

• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a dynamic work environment.

• Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring precision and accuracy in all financial transactions and records.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.

• QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification.

• Previous experience with bill.com.

• Experience in bookkeeping for law firms or trust accounting.

• Background at start-ups or small businesses.
