About The Team 
 The Outreach Legal Team is small, but mighty—delivering high-impact support across the  organization. Not only are we instrumental in helping the company achieve its strategic objectives while effectively managing legal risk, but the Legal Team plays a vital role in supporting customer success and vendor relationships, beginning with the contracting process.  
The Role 
 Do you love working with contracts? Are you incredibly detail oriented and love managing a high-volume of customer and vendor agreements? Are you a problem solver who wants to help business teams close deals in a fast-growing company? Outreach’s Legal team is hiring! We're a growing team that supports the entire organization from Sales and Marketing to HR, Finance, Product, Engineering and everything in between! As Legal Analyst/ Contracts Manager you'll play a primary role in the contracting process here at Outreach. We are looking for a self-starter who has a passion for supporting a legal team by keeping workflow moving and being the initial reviewer on many of our legal requests submitted by business owners. 
Location: This could be a remote position within the US or hybrid in Seattle or Atlanta.

Your Daily Adventures Will Include

  • Day to day contract management for vendor and commercial Software as a  Service (Saas) Agreements, Order Forms, Nondisclosure Agreements (NDAs),  Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Data Processing Addenda (DPAs) and  other agreements. This includes confirming final versions of contracts are  signed and processed accurately and utilizing the contract lifecycle  management software (CLM) to update and maintain contract repositories 
  • Manage legal queues, triage and assign contracts for further review;  coordinate the contract negotiation and execution process with internal and  external stakeholders 
  • Create, review, edit, and mark up a wide range of vendor and commercial  agreements in accordance with standard approved playbook terms 
  • Maintain and organize contract records in the CLM and utilize e-signature  software to send out contracts for signature, follow up where necessary and  maintain up to date records for all commercial and vendor contracts 
  • Gather internal feedback from other reviewers in the purchase contracting  process and incorporate that feedback in the purchase contract 
  • Work with business owners to understand their purchase requirements and  reflect those requirements in the purchase contract 
  • Review and implement ways to increase efficiency in contract workflow  process 
  • Enforce organizational contract policies and procedures 
  • Collaborate and partner effectively with Deal Desk, Finance and Legal to  refine templates, playbooks and contracts processes 
  • Work on other projects as assigned

Our Vision Of You

  • 2-5 years of experience managing and negotiating customer and vendor  contracts, preferably in an in-house corporate legal setting 
  • Knowledge and understanding of key contract types relevant in the SaaS  sector – online terms of service, MSAs, SOWs, DPAs, NDAs, etc. 
  • Knowledge of electronic signature processing software 
  • Knowledge of CLM software 
  • Excellent research, reasoning and analytical skills 
  • Excellent time management skills, including the ability to manage a high  volume of contracts and deadlines concurrently 
  • High level of attention to detail with excellent organizational skills and  dedication to accuracy 
  • Can work independently, with the ability to anticipate and address follow-up  needs and escalate issues for management review 
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment and establish working  relationships with coworkers to successfully accomplish objectiv
