Purpose

To assist the development and alumni relations team in orchestrating a large scale alumni solicitation campaign in celebration of the 250th anniversary of the country’s birth. 

Responsibilities

• The student worker will be working with the development and alumni relations team to connect with alumni via email/phone, create and help organize alumni mailings, assist in the creation of student testimonial videos, and any other duties needed to complete a large scale solicitation campaign.  

• Contact alumni to collect updated contact information

• Create content associated with email/mail/video solicitations and stewardship

• Provide administrative support for the solicitation project

Required Qualifications 

The right candidate will have strong writing skills, attention to detail, and the ability communicate clearly and effectively with LBJ School alumni. 

Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate. 

Preferred Qualifications 

A preference for candidates skilled in Canva and who have prior experience working in fundraising or alumni relations.
