Business Analyst Intern - 3364391

This position is paid hourly and does not include benefits.

TCG is pleased to offer remote employment for this internship. The selected applicant must reside in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.

US Citizenship is required for this role. In addition, the selected applicant must submit to a government background investigation and be favorably adjudicated before their first day.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Under direct supervision, supports the lead Business Analyst in activities including, but not limited to, use case development, documentation, test plans, quality assurance, and Agile ceremonies.
• Contributes to assigned projects and may assist with process improvement events, creating process maps, and helping to solve process inefficiencies.
• Contribute to project management improvement initiatives under the direction of the lead Business Analyst
• Handles basic issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff
• Shadow leadership to develop an understanding of the project culture and application development and support

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Possesses beginning to working knowledge of the principles of business analysis/management gleaned through academic coursework or experience
• Eagerness to contribute to a team-oriented environment
• Ability to work creatively and strategically
• Demonstrates problem-solving, resourcefulness, and a willingness to bring fresh ideas
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to understand and follow directions
• Oral and written communication skills

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• MS Office applications to include Word and Excel
• MS Project or similar project management tools

EDUCATION:

• Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in a related field
