Summer Intern 2025 - Finance and Accounting

Overview

Steampunk is seeking an Accounting and Finance Intern. Tasks will be closely aligned with accounting & finance, but could also be associated with assisting our companies sectors and projects.

Contributions

As a Steampunk Accounting & Finance Intern your daily responsibilities will vary by project, but you can expect to:

• Assist in various accounting activities such as Accounts Payables, Expense Reporting, Accounts Receivables and preparing journal entries
• Assist with finance activities such as forecasting, monthly results & reporting
• Continually experience new and engaging opportunities, challenging work, flexibility, career sponsorship and mentoring, and recognition for your contributions
• Develop accounting and finance acumen which will make a positive impact on the company

Qualifications

Required:

• Rising college junior or senior 
• Minimum overall GPA of 3.0
• Desire to continuously learn
• Strong interpersonal, written and communication skills
• Excellent team-building and collaboration skills with cross-function teams
• Ability to learn new skills, tools and technology
• Resourceful in overcoming obstacles
• Understanding basic accounting and corporate finance
• Experience with Excel, Word and Power-Point
