JOB SUMMARY

Leitner-Poma of America, Inc. is seeking an independent, passionate Assistant Maintenance Technician to maintain & repair our Automated People Mover System. This role will work closely with the Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician to perform a variety of tasks to keep the trains looking & running in top condition. The Assistant Maintenance Technician will perform a variety of cleaning tasks, assist with performing maintenance & repairs, and maintain a full inventory of necessary supplies.

This is a full-time, hourly overnight position (10:00pm-6:00am) position hiring at $17.25-$22.25 per hour based on relevant experience & certifications.

Requirements

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma/GED equivalent.
• Prior experience in general cleaning & janitorial tasks.
• Prior experience maintaining & repairing mechanical equipment.
• Ability to physically lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Permanent Resident or Citizen of the United States of America.
• Proficient in the English language.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 1 year of transit system maintenance & repair.
• At least 1 year of cleaning & janitorial experience.
