We’re seeking a future team member for the role of
Senior Associate - Fund/Client Accounting to join our EFT Fund Accounting team. This role is located in Dublin, Ireland.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- The ETF Assistant Manager has direct responsibility for ensuring that the net asset values (NAVs) of the fund are calculated accurately and on a timely basis in accordance with BNY standard procedures.
- Show initiative and enthusiasm with an ability to set and achieve challenging goals
- Responsible for the scheduling of work and ensuring that the necessary controls are followed to provide accurate and timely fund accounting/administration services to clients.
- Responsible for ensuring that BNY standard policies, procedures and controls are always adhered to.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Communicate any significant operational issues that arise to Manager.
- Conducts accounting services on complex funds including determining net asset values, calculating fund performance, portfolio composition files (PCFs) and preparing reports.
- Performs complex Fund/Client Accounting responsibilities in the areas of driving Service Improvement plans, targeting efficiencies, enhancing processes and specialist review functions.
- Drafts reports for clients in response to various fund-related queries
- Regularly interacts with clients in answering questions and resolving issues regarding fund reports and accounting processes.
- Help to determine the impact of new regulations on BNY fund accounting practices.
- Provides guidance to less experienced team members.
- May have responsibility for managing the performance of team members. Contributes to the achievement of related teams objectives.
