Job Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Oldcastle APG Retail team. The individual is responsible for creating and managing enterprise level analytics that deliver actionable insights. This includes execution of the full development lifecycle and requires a strong background in data, business analysis, process improvement along with excellent communication skills. We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst with strong analytical skills, Tableau and Excel skills to evaluate and optimize supplier performance with Home Depot and Lowe’s. The ideal candidate will leverage data analysis, visualization tools, and advanced Excel functions to generate insights, track key performance metrics, and provide strategic recommendations to enhance supplier relationships and operational efficiency.
Job Location
This is a hybrid position based out of our office in Atlanta, GA.
Job Responsibilities
- Design, manage, and analyze Tableau dashboards to monitor key performance metrics, including sales, inventory, and production for all APG customers.
- Leverage advanced Excel functions to process and analyze large datasets efficiently.
- Detect trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities to enhance overall performance.
- Deliver data-driven insights and recommendations to optimize business efficiency.
- Partner with internal teams to ensure reporting requirements are met effectively.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across multiple systems and reporting platforms.
- Automate repetitive tasks using Tableau, Excel, or other analytical tools to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with IT, BI, and field teams to enhance data accessibility and usability.
- Provide in-depth reports and forecasts to support management and key stakeholders.
- Conduct competitive analysis to drive informed business decisions.
- Identify workflow inefficiencies and propose process improvements for enhanced productivity.
Job Requirements
- 2+ years of experience designing, building, and deploying BI/analytical solutions and reports.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, computer science, engineering, math, or another technical field.
- Advanced data visualization tool knowledge (Tableau).
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office w/ Advanced Excel skills (VBA).
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to travel domestically up to 10%.
