Cleveland Clinic Martin North Hospital is a fully integrated, state-of-the-art medical campus that includes diagnostic centers, outpatient surgery and a 24-hour emergency department. Cleveland Clinic Martin North Hospital is part of the world-renowned Cleveland Clinic, a nonprofit, multispecialty, academic medical center that integrates clinical and hospital care with research and education.
As an RN on this team, you will have access to our advanced technology to make meaningful differences in the lives of patients and their families. In this position, you will use your nursing knowledge to support the hospital and act as a patient educator and advocate. While navigating the unit with a Critical Care mentality is essential, you will also have down time to interact and truly connect with fellow caregivers and the patients you encounter daily.
A caregiver in this position works nights from 7:00PM – 7:30AM.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Provide direct nursing care.
Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans.
Monitor, record, document and communicate patients’ conditions.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
Educate patients and their families.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Graduate from an accredited school of Professional Nursing
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
One year of acute care RN experience in a hospital setting OR licensed military RN experience
Teaching and educating experience
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN)
