Assistant District Attorney - Appeals

Seeking an Assistant District Attorney to work in the Norfolk District Attorney’s Appeals Unit.

• Responsibilities include drafting and arguing briefs and other post-conviction matters and researching and responding to time-sensitive legal questions, as well as trial assistance.
• Other duties may include responding to records requests, including requests under the Public Records Law.

• Must be a licensed attorney in good standing in Massachusetts.
• At least 2+ year experience working with the criminal justice system.
• Position based at main office in Canton. Must be able to travel to courts within the Commonwealth.

This is a full-time position based in Canton, MA.  While there is the possibility of one day of remote work each week, this is primarily an in-person position.
