Summary of Job Duties:

The Student Success & Financial Empowerment Coach plays a crucial role in supporting under-resourced and at-risk students by offering holistic, individualized guidance in academic success and financial literacy. This cross-functional position combines elements of academic advising, financial education, and student success coaching to create a comprehensive support system for students. The Success Coach will work closely with campus partners, including academic advisors, financial aid staff, retention specialists, Student Affairs, and CORD teams, to provide proactive and personalized outreach that promotes student persistence, academic achievement, financial well-being, and overall college success.

The role focuses on helping students transition into college, manage academic and financial challenges, and develop long-term strategies for success. Through one-on-one financial planning and academic coaching, this position empowers students to make informed decisions about their education, finances, and future career goals. The Success Coach will contribute to a culture of support that values exceptional customer service, and high-impact engagement, particularly for first-generation college students and those facing financial barriers.
