**Compensation Range for This Position Is $90,000 - $95,000
This is a full-time, REMOTE position that requires international travel.
We will consider candidates who are able to work either Central Time Zone (UTC - 5) or UTC time.
Mercy Ships seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Analyst to translate Organization business requirements into functional and non-functional requirements in support of Mercy Ships strategy.
The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible to lead various organizational initiatives and change activities, ensuring successful planning, execution, and delivery of projects and initiatives.
The Senior Business Analyst will be central in driving project success through effective leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and robust stakeholder engagement.
How You’ll Contribute
Project Discovery and Assessment:
• Work with sponsors, customers, Information Services staff and other stakeholders to define requirements.
• Work with subject matter experts (SMEs) to determine functional requirements, possible solutions, alternative approaches and related impacts.
• Research and recommend solutions to business problems according to the defined requirements.
• Identify and advance solutions that support the established and a desired future enterprise architecture.
• Effectively communicate current state and potential future state scenarios to sponsors, customers, project team members and stakeholders
• Lead customer interviews and business analysis sessions
• Support project management activities with the necessary documentation to initiate and execute successful projects.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement project solutions.
• Support and facilitate effective communication and coordination among project stakeholders, ensuring a unified approach towards project goals.
• Promote adherence to standardized processes and documentation.
Stakeholder Engagement and Requirements Gathering:
• Engage with key stakeholders to gather detailed requirements and understand business needs.
• Translate stakeholder requirements into effective project solutions.
• Lead comprehensive requirements-gathering efforts, ensuring all stakeholder expectations are captured and integrated into the project scope.
• Create system design proposals.
• Create models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to the project team
Change Management:
• Develop and implement robust change management strategies to support organizational transitions.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and concerns, and proactively address resistance to change.
• Ensure adequate training and support mechanisms are in place to facilitate user adoption and minimize disruptions.
Documentation and Knowledge Transfer:
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including technical specifications, user guides, and change management plans.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions to ensure understanding and adoption of new processes and tools.
• Promote the use of standardized processes and documentation across all project activities.
