Senior Director, Global Technology Operations, Administration & Strategy
WME is seeking a Senior Director, Global Technology Operations, Administration & Strategy to leads global IT Administration, international TechOps service delivery, the PMO, and multi-year technology planning. You should be a strategic, thoughtful and savvy Information Technology leader with a background in and passion for the entertainment industries. You must be detail-oriented, willing to do the work, possess exceptional relationship-building skills, and enjoy working in a highly iterative, agile and fast-paced environment. Must be flexible and able to move quickly from one subject to another.
The role will report to WME’s Head of IT Infrastructure and Cybersecurity based in Beverly Hills, CA.
Position Summary
The Senior Director of Global Technology Operations, Administration & Strategy oversees enterprise IT service delivery, global TechOps, IT administration of core business systems, ITSM governance, and project/program execution across the USA, EMEA, and APAC regions.
This leader ensures consistent service quality, operational excellence, and ITSM compliance across all geographies while aligning global technology initiatives with business objectives.
The role leads global IT Administration (Microsoft 365, collaboration tools, SaaS applications, endpoint management), international TechOps service delivery, the PMO, and multi-year technology planning. The Senior Director partners closely with regional business leaders, Finance, HR, Cybersecurity, and Legal to mature operational processes and deliver a unified, scalable global IT experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Global Technology Operations & IT Administration
Lead day-to-day IT operations and end-user services across the USA, EMEA, and APAC.
Oversee global endpoint management, business application administration, and productivity platforms.
Govern Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive) and SaaS ecosystems across time zones.
Ensure global consistency in ITSM processes—incident, request, change, problem, knowledge, and asset management.
Improve service quality through international documentation standards, proactive monitoring, automation, and regional operational playbooks.
Manage onboarding/offboarding workflows in coordination with identity/account provisioning teams, ensuring global process alignment.
2. ITSM Governance & Operational Compliance
Define and enforce ITSM standards, policies, procedures, and service levels across all regions.
Ensure global operational compliance with ITSM processes, internal controls, and technology governance frameworks.
Oversee global change management to ensure standardized execution regardless of geography.
Own documentation standards (SOPs, runbooks, knowledge articles) and ensure they are adopted globally.
Establish and track global SLAs, KPIs, service metrics, and trend reporting to drive continuous improvement.
Partner with Cybersecurity to align operations with global security control requirements.
3. Global Project Management Office (PMO) Leadership
Lead the PMO to support global project intake, prioritization, and resource planning.
Oversee project execution spanning multiple regions, ensuring clear alignment and communication across time zones.
Deliver consistent methodologies for SaaS rollouts, platform upgrades, workflow improvement, and operational enhancement projects globally.
Establish transparency, predictable outcomes, and standardized delivery practices across all countries.
4. Global Technology Strategy & Planning
Develop a multi-year global technology roadmap covering operations, ITSM maturity, administrative tooling, and regional enablement.
Align strategies with local and global business needs, regulatory considerations, and operational climates across EMEA, APAC, and the USA.
Collaborate with Finance on global budget planning, forecasting, and optimization.
Evaluate global tooling, SaaS platforms, and automation opportunities to support scalable global operations.
Lead global lifecycle planning for devices, applications, and operational tooling.
5. Global Vendor & Partner Management
Oversee MSPs, regional partners, and SaaS vendors supporting EMEA, APAC, and USA operations.
