Job Description
The Specialist, Trade Marketing will lead and manage NBCUniversal’s marketing efforts to increase sales across the entire portfolio while working closely with the NBCUniversal stakeholders, inclusive of Agency Partnerships, Client Partnerships, DE&I, Insights & Positioning, and Measurement teams.
This position will report to the Director of Trade Marketing.
Responsibilities:
- Monetization
- Communication/Facilitation: Act as the central point of contact for inbound marketing requests across the Agency Partnerships, Client Partnerships, DE&I, Insights & Positioning, and Measurement teams and liaise with all appropriate internal groups (Creative Partnerships, Programming, Production, Digital, Research, Pricing/Planning, Consumer Marketing, Corporate Communications, etc.) to facilitate efficient and transparent communication.
- Sales Collateral and Materials: Work with team in creating, developing and managing the Portfolio sales materials: sales presentations (base and customized), sales videos, one-sheets, calendars, online media kit, email blasts, etc.
- Results Reporting and Renewals: Manage and oversee the post-sell process (recap presentations, research, videos, etc.) to showcase program results.
- Client Experience:
- Collaborate in developing and executing immersive & one-of-a-kind experiences (content strategy, event ideation, branding, list management & execution) that help build sales relationships and positions NBCU as best-in-class in the marketplace.
- Management
- Work closely with other members of Trade Marketing teams to efficiently manage seamless and effective communication plants
- Develop and manage relationships with internal teams as well as external industry-facing organizations and conference lead
Qualifications
Desired Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience with an ad agency, client or media company sales organization, where the individual helped develop and execute events, presentations, sponsorships, creative and promotions; overall project management, branding efforts and team management.
- Exhibit core behaviors (e.g. clear and concise communication, client service, strategic thinking, problem-solving, detail oriented)
- Superior Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills and knowledge of other Microsoft Office programs
- Understanding of media landscape and ad sales organizations
- Ability to seamlessly manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong organizational, process, project & event management, analytical and research- related skills
- Must be confident executing leadership’s direction in a fast-paced workflow
- Strong budget-management skills
- Strong storytelling and deck-writing abilities
- Understanding of the creative development process and branding
- Meticulous with a keen eye for detail, organization, and design
- Highly innovative with positive energy
- Experience with multicultural media or marketing a plus

Salary Range: $65,000-$70,000
