Job Title: Client Services Associate
Reports To: The Client Services Associate will report to the Client Services Supervisor, Client Services Manager, or equivalent leadership.
Job Overview:
This Client Services Associate (Hospitality) position is directly responsible for the presentation, ordering, stocking of food and beverages onsite for all client gatherings, including meetings, events, interviews, seminars, and conferences. This position directly supports the onsite needs associated with onsite setup and tidiness of professional workspaces.
Overall, this position continuously offers the highest level of service to all client and SPS employees while maintaining a professional image of the company by providing prompt, courteous and efficient service.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver 5-star customer service to all employees, guests, and clients.
- Order, stock, and maintain food, beverages, and related supplies.
- Set up and refresh meeting rooms, conference areas, and event spaces.
- Replenish and tidy pantry, kitchen, and barista areas.
- Submit and track work orders as needed for maintenance or service requests.
- Perform light cleaning and workspace organization duties.
- Monitor and restock office and pantry supplies.
- Assist with internal moves or event logistics as needed.
- Maintain the Business Service Center and shared spaces in a neat, orderly fashion.
- Provide reception or mailroom coverage as needed.
- Build positive relationships with colleagues and clients while maintaining professionalism.
Competencies:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent hospitality and customer service skills.
- PC skills – MS Office Suite experience.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Good organizational skills.
- Requires knowledge and understanding of technological ordering systems and ability to comprehend instructions.
- Possesses the ability to work independently and is capable of completing projects.
- Adaptable and flexible to needs at a moment’s notice.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent hospitality and customer service abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other computer-based systems.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving aptitude.
- Ability to work independently and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing needs and priorities.
- Professional appearance, demeanor, and adherence to company policies.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; 1–2+ years of related experience preferred.
- Ability to work assigned hours as determined by management.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift, carry, or move packages up to 60 lbs. using standard carts.
- Frequent walking, bending, kneeling, standing, or sitting for extended periods.
- Manual dexterity to operate office equipment (phones, copiers, binding machines, etc.).
- Visual acuity sufficient for computer and document work.
