Your Role

• As the Senior Digital InfoSec Architect at ZEISS, you will be at the forefront of our mission to seam-lessly integrate security into every facet of our digital transformation journey

• This is a role; with an opportunity to drive innovation and make a substantial impact on a global scale. In this pivotal role, you will be part of the global Business Information Security Enablement Function of the ZEISS Group, the core of Corporate Information Security

• Our mission as a ZEISS wide Governance and Enablement Function is to empower and support ZEISS business segments and units globally, ensuring that security by de-sign is embedded in every project and operation, in alignment with customer needs and ZEISS's overarching information security strategy

• You will lead the global ZEISS Business Information Security Architecture, coordinating and spearheading initiatives that enhance and standardize security practices across all business segments units

• Your will enable and support our business segments to deliver secure, resilient business solutions and products at speed and scale, all while exceeding customer expectations

• You will develop and implement enterprise information security architecture and technology solutions to ensure security by design, supporting secure digital transformation initiatives

• You will ensure that security architecture frameworks, standards, and the overall business digital strategy are seamlessly aligned, fostering a cohesive security approach

• You will serve as a foremost information security expert, providing strategic guidance and counsel to IT partners and business leaders, influencing key decision-making processes

• You will work closely with enterprise architects, functional area architects, and security special-ists to deliver innovative, comprehensive security solutions across all digital platforms

Your Profile

• You have a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Information Security or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Ideally you have certifications like: CISSP, CCSP, TOGAF, SABSA

• You have experience with having functional or disciplinary personnel responsibility and strong intercultural competences for leading distributed teams from multiple disciplines

• 5+ years of experience in Information Security Leadership Role

• Proven experience in developing security architecture artifacts and reference architectures for digital, data, and IoT platforms, ideally within the manufacturing sector

• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate, mentor, and lead teams effectively

• Exceptional ability to influence others and bring digital security architecture to life for business and technology leaders

• Track record of driving innovation and continuous improvement in information security practices, staying ahead of industry trends

• Proficiency in conflict resolution and negotiation, adept at navigating complex organizational dynamics

• Experience advising C-level executives and board members on information security matters, translating technical concepts into business terms

• Collaborative mentality with a proven track record of working effectively with diverse, multicultural stakeholders

• Ability to communicate complex technical issues to diverse audiences clearly and authoritatively

• Deep understanding of digital application architectures and cloud infrastructures

• Insight into the impact of emerging business and end-user technologies on information security

• Ability to foster collaborative working relationships outside the IT function

• Fluent in English; German or other languages are an advantage
