(Senior) Global Data Protection Advisor (m/f/d)

As part of our global transformation, we are strengthening our global data protection function – and we’re looking for a seasoned Global Data Protection Advisor to help shape our future.</p><p>In this role, you will become core member of our global data protection team, working at the intersection of privacy, technology, and strategy. You'll have the  play a key role in developing and operationalizing our data protection management system while guiding global process owners through complex implementations.</p><p>This is not a maintenance role – it’s a high-impact opportunity to substantially contribute to the strategic transformation of data protection at Fresenius Group level.</p><h2><br/><br/><b>Your Key Responsibilities:</b></h2><p>You’ll be trusted to work independently and strategically across the following areas:</p><ul><li>Initiate &amp; Direct: Identify improvement area’s of our data protection management system and drive them to resolution</li><li>Advise &amp; Guide: Be the go-to expert for project managers and process owners on embedding data protection requirements into projects and processes.</li><li>Privacy by Design: Provide hands-on input on architecture, design, and implementation of data processing systems – from databases to interfaces and authorization models.</li><li>Risk &amp; Controls: Lead and support data protection risk and control assessments for global initiatives.</li><li>Workshops &amp; Reviews: Design and run workshops, and conduct implementation reviews to ensure compliance and maturity.</li><li>Collaboration: Partner with IT security, legal, and procurement to assess risks and support contract negotiations.</li><li>Global Impact: Drive global Transfer Impact Assessments (TIAs) and maintain the Registry of Processing Activities.</li><li>Vendor &amp; Solution Reviews: Support due diligence, solution selection, and evaluation of risks for third-party solutions.</li><li>Knowledge Hub: Serve as the link between global teams and the wider data protection community at Fresenius.</li></ul><p></p><h2><b>What You Bring:</b></h2><ul><li>A degree in law, computer science, business sciences, or a related field</li><li>5+ years of experience in data protection, privacy, or IT</li><li>Proven ability to operate independently and advise at all levels of the organization</li><li>Deep knowledge of EU data protection laws (esp.
