Summary
Job Description:
Baptist Health is looking for a Lead Charge Capture Nurse to join their team. This is a remote position that requires residency in KY or IN
Supports the day-to-day operations related to clinical charge audit and charge capture. Supports implementation and maintenance of standardized workflows developed in collaboration with the Director of Charge Capture, Special Projects Manager, and Associate Vice President of Revenue Integrity.
Minimum Education, Experience, Training and Licensures Required
Bachelor’s degree with 3 years broad based acute care nursing experience required OR Associate degree in nursing including an additional five years’ experience in a revenue cycle related position
Valid Kentucky Licensure as a Registered Nurse
Knowledge of medical terminology and a basic understanding of coding and payment methodologies including DRG and APC. Individuals working with payor audits must have a keen understanding of audit response requirements and timelines.
