This application is for applicants for the following programs:

Application Instructions

Please carefully review the following steps to apply:

1. Apply to the university using Cal State Apply. 

   Please note: After you apply, you will receive your SDSU Empl ID number and SDSU ID (email).

   If you have not received your SDSU ID within 10-15 business days of applying, please contact Graduate Admissions. SDSU IDs may be issued anywhere between 1 and 15 business days, depending on when you apply. We recommend submitting your Cal State Apply application as soon as possible to ensure you receive your SDSU ID on time.

2. A GMAT or GRE is not required for admission.

   Official transcripts must be sent to Graduate Admissions.

3. On this Interfolio website, please complete all the following tasks:

   1. Answer Questions (Required).

   2. Provide a Statement of Purpose (Required). Prompts are available at https://business.sdsu.edu/grad/apply

   3. Provide Resume/CV (Required).

   4. Submit Unofficial Transcripts for All Colleges/Universities Attended (Required).   

   5. Provide Two (2) Letters of Recommendation Requests (Required). Recommenders: You are welcome to write a letter of recommendation on your own or use our recommendation template located at https://business.sdsu.edu/admissions/_files/_graduate-admissions/letter-of-rec-mba.pdf.  Upload the completed letter on the Interfolio website, please.

   6. Submit an Optional Essay. We invite you to submit an essay to help us better understand the context of your opportunities and achievements (Not Required; 300 words limit).

4. Complete this supplemental program application by April 15, 2025. Please note that the version of Interfolio used for the program application is called Faculty Search. If you have any technical issues completing this application, please contact Interfolio. For all other questions, please contact the program.

This application consists of document attachments and confidential letters of recommendation.
