The Prosecution Services Unit (PSU) is responsible for providing legal services in the regulation of all health care boards and councils. PSU takes administrative action against healthcare practitioners for violations of the licensee’s practice act.  This position is directly supervised by the Operations & Management Consultant I within the Prosecution Services Unit of the Office of the General Counsel.
 
Your Specific Responsibilities:

  • Incumbent processes intake of all new cases received in Prosecution Services Unit from the Field Offices. Incumbent updates activity codes in LEIDS, updates status codes in LEIDS and assigns cases to the proper section.
  • Scans and uploads closing orders and closing letters into Axiom Pro accurately and returns them to staff upon completion in a timely manner. 
  • Incumbent processes and mails status 60 and status 70 letters daily. Enters activity codes in LEIDS.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge, skills and abilities, including utilization of equipment, required for the position Ability to determine work priorities, assigns work, and ensures proper completion of work assignments. Ability to understand and apply applicable rules, policies and procedures regarding licensure and regulation of professionals, and consumer protection.  Ability to compile, organize and analyze data. Ability to communicate effectively.  Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience with extensive data entry.
  • Skilled with attention to detail and high organizational skills.
