A Day in the Life

The Senior Financial Analyst will serve as a strategic partner to the Finance Director for Coronary, supporting financial planning, analysis, and reporting across key initiatives including Marketing, Digital Transformation and strategic initiatives. This role is critical to enabling the execution of business objectives and driving operational excellence through data-driven insights and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Business Support/Strategic Initiatives

    • Partner with the Coronary Marketing team to understand, structure and manage discretionary budgets and headcount

    • Perform ad hoc impact analyses for strategic initiatives to assist with investment optimization and effectiveness

  • Digital Transformation

    • Manage budgets by partnering with stakeholders

    • Perform critical review of project expenses to assess appropriate accounting designations by utilizing policy documents and consultation with the CV Controller and the CRDN Finance Leadership

    • Engage in transformation project team meetings and act as the Finance SME

    • Support financial tracking and reporting for digital initiatives

  • Finance Operations & Reporting

    • Own the execution of AOP and forecast cycles with the Coronary marketing and Digital Transformation Teams.

    • Lead month-end/quarter-end close activities by ensuring timely and accurate account of OU Mgmt expenses, performing variance analysis, and preparing and presenting Day 5 content

    • Partner with CRDN Finance analysts to drive standardization of templates and processes across therapies and finance functions

    • Prepare Digital P&L and headcount reporting for Marketing and CWX organizations

    • Support cost-down initiatives and ad hoc analysis, as needed, and provide insights and recommendations on next steps to develop leadership and strengthen critical thinking skills

  • Process Optimization

    • Continuous reflection on team processes to identify opportunities for improvement of business partnering impact and time efficiencies in personal and team finance support

    • Collaborate with CRDN FP&A to understand and achieve CRDN/CV/Corporate deliverables

    • Explore AI and other productivity tools to assist in role specific and CRDN Finance team processes and deliverables

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree plus 4+ years of Finance or Accounting experience (or 2+ years with an advanced degree)

Nice to Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred

  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis

  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams

  • Positive and motivated approach to tasks and building relationships with the both the CRDN Finance team and business stakeholders

For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
