The Role

The Sr Mgr, Software Support leads and manages a team that is responsible for the availability, health, and support of production applications on midrange and in PaaS environments on premises and/or cloud based.  This role requires problem solving and the ability to guide a team towards implementing standards and solutions to problems.  They have broad experience with production application support and can lead the team in projects and initiatives to implement our vision for the future of Lumen.

The Main Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of support personnel to ensure availability of assigned production applications
• Manage the various support activities and deliverables on time with client satisfaction in an international work environment with matrix resources in different locations and time zones
• Establish best practices and standards to monitor and support the production application environment
• Guide the team in problem solving and in the implementation of automated solutions
• Provide for the timely and accurate resolution of requests from leadership and partners, as well as regular communication on status of work, projects and initiatives
• Understand and adhere to the corporate financial and time reporting systems and practices
• Embrace and model a culture that promotes an empowered team environment
• Assist employees in building and managing their skill development plans
• Support their team through HR processes such as career growth and performance reviews
• Lead employee and contractor interviews and be able to make decisions on hiring of these candidates
• Act as a servant leader to support their team

What We Look For in a Candidate

• Typically, 7 years related experience and 2+ years previous manager level leadership experience expected

Compensation

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

Location Based Pay Ranges:

$129,639 - $172,852 in these states: AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, ME, MO, MS, MT, ND, NE, NM, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, UT, VT, WI, WV, and WY.
$136,121 - $181,494 in these states: CO, HI, MI, MN, NC, NH, NV, OR, and RI.
$142,603 - $190,137 in these states: AK, CA, CT, DC, DE, IL, MA, MD, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA.
