Sr. Manager International Frontline Marketing

Your Mission

We’re seeking a Sr.Manager to join our team in LA to supports the global promotion and marketing strategy for BMG artists across international territories. This role works cross-functionally with global teams to coordinate promotional efforts, manage campaigns, analyze performance metrics, and ensure effective distribution of marketing assets and communications worldwide. 

What You'll Be Doing

  • Build and coordinate press junkets in collaboration with global teams for BMG artists. 
  • Set up and manage global promotional interviews with international journalists and media outlets. 
  • Disseminate press materials, press releases, and promotional content for global distribution. 
  • Hire and manage relationships with third-party global PR and radio promotion teams. 
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and marketing/department meetings across genres to support global campaign strategy. 
  • Manage and track album and single release activity and monitor emerging global music trends. 
  • Coordinate daily and weekly meetings with international teams to align campaign priorities. 
  • Assist with and oversee global physical product quantity needs in collaboration with U.S. product managers. 
  • Maintain and organize marketing and promotional assets for U.S. repertoire across global file-sharing platforms. 
  • Oversee and track global marketing budgets for assigned artists, including review and approval of expenses. 
  • Develop international solicitation budget documentation as needed for campaign planning. 
  • Analyze campaign data and performance metrics to evaluate marketing effectiveness and identify opportunities for optimization. 
  • Pull and review global DSP reports for new releases on a weekly basis. 
  • Conduct ad-hoc research on territories, markets, and artists to support marketing strategies. 
  • Provide general administrative and operational support for international marketing activities, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas and documentation, maintaining distribution lists and outbound rosters, coordinating communications with global partners, processing invoices, and ensuring marketing assets and materials are properly organized and shared across internal systems. 
  • Some international travel may be required on a case-by-case basis. 

 

What You Bring

  • Previous experience working in the music industry or marketing (international experience preferred but not required)
  • Globally minded with an interest in international markets and cultural trends. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, Dropbox/file-sharing systems, streaming platforms, and internet research tools. 
  • Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills. 
  • Ability to exercise discretion and professionalism when interacting with internal teams and external partners. 
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality around high-profile projects and assets, while demonstrating cultural awareness and sensitivity. 
  • Passionate and knowledgeable about global music and culture.
