Position Summary & Key Areas of Responsibility

The VP, Finance - Operations is responsible for managing the financial health of the operations organization, driving cost efficiency, process improvements, and supporting strategic initiatives through strong financial stewardship and technology enablement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and manage the full financial outlook for the operations organization, including annual planning, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Provide regular reporting and insights on financial trends and business performance
• Maintain a strong internal control framework to ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial data
• Oversee accruals and balance sheet reconciliations
• Drive cost optimization and operational efficiencies through continuous process improvement
• Support and lead departmental initiatives such as RFPs, vendor analysis, spend management, and benchmarking
• Provide financial training and guidance to analysts or business partners
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and positive team morale
• Support the Director in day-to-day business operations

• Lead the implementation and administration of systems supporting operations finance and vendor management
• Ensure seamless integration between financial systems and the corporate ERP
• Partner with IT to support system upgrades, enhancements, and troubleshooting
• Own the operational tech roadmap and monitor the project portfolio
• Maintain SharePoint and intranet content relevant to operations finance and reporting

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Technology. Advanced degree or CPA preferred.
• 10+ years of relevant experience, including:
• Knowledge of SOX or other internal control frameworks
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Strategic thinker with sound busin
