Director, Global Health Economics & Outcomes Research (GHEOR)
Agilent TechnologiesAbout the role
Job Description
The Life Science and Diagnostic Markets Group (LDG) develops and markets a diverse set of innovative products and solutions for research, translational research, and diagnostic market segments globally.
You will work closely with LDG solutions units/divisions and sales teams to ensure access is a planned and integral part of the pipeline development and commercialization stages of our products, starting at the earliest points of a molecule’s life cycle and going up to and beyond its launch. A key element of this work is ensuring we create the necessary evidence packages required to demonstrate the utility and economic value our products deliver to payers, clinicians, patients, their families, and society.
The candidate will focus on HEOR efforts for Agilent's portfolio of products. In addition, have responsibility for identification, demonstration, and evaluation of the impact of the life cycle indications and value propositions, including publications. This position will oversee global health economic strategy, including pricing throughout the product lifecycle. You will deliver clear recommendations for payer strategies, evidence generation, including data collection and economic value proposition, to internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
The Director of Global Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) at Agilent will provide scientific and technical expertise for the development of health economic evaluations to accompany our rigorous reviews of scientific evidence. You collaborate cross-functionally with Agilent Medical and Clinical Affairs, Commercial Marketing and Sales teams, and pharmaceutical partners to ensure access is a planned and integral component across the lifecycle of products from pipeline to beyond launch. A key element of this work is understanding the evidence requirements to achieve access goals and creating robust evidence packages that demonstrate the utility and economic value of our products to access decision-makers (e.g., payers, health technology assessment [HTA] organizations, laboratory directors).
This role will be responsible for developing and executing global HEOR strategies from data collection to evidence generation and dissemination (e.g., conference abstracts and presentations, publications, evidence dossiers). You will also support Market Access by developing value propositions and payer engagement strategies. On a project basis, you may lead the design and execution of economic models (e.g., budget impact models, cost-effectiveness analyses) internally or externally in collaboration with pharmaceutical partners and key opinion leaders.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct global health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) to support market access strategies for diagnostic products that inform treatment selection within oncology.
Develop robust global HEOR evidence generation strategies that demonstrate the value of Agilent products and fulfill payer evidence requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate HEOR insights across product lifecycles from early development to commercialization.
Lead the design, execution, and dissemination of HEOR studies (e.g., systematic reviews, budget impact models, cost-effectiveness analyses, burden of illness, etc.).
Prepare and present HEOR findings to internal stakeholders, external partners, and payer organizations.
Support the development of value dossiers, health technology assessments (HTAs), guidelines and reimbursement submissions for key markets, including but not limited to US, EU, China, and Japan.
