SITEC 3 EOM Senior Manager of Special Projects

Responsibilities

Peraton requires a Special Program Manager (SPM) to support the U.S. Special Operations Command Enterprise Information Technology Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order at MacDill AFB, FL. In this position, the SPM will provide direct support to the SITEC 3 EOM Program Manager in the day-to-day execution of the $2.8B program to provide enterprise level information technology support to U.S. Special Operation Command Headquarters, Theater Special Operations Commands, and Components in both CONUS and OCONUS locations. 

 

The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps);  maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365.

This position may require shift work and/or an ability to work a non-standard work schedule to support the USSOCOM mission.

 

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provide direct oversight for strategic level efforts identified as the SITEC 3 EOM PM's top priority projects
• Develop detailed project plans outlining major milestones from start up to project completion
• Identify key stakeholders to participate in executing project plan
• Plan, schedule and facilitate all necessary meetings and technical discussions in support of the strategic projects
• Deliver periodic status updates and prepare decision briefings for SITEC 3 EOM PM for critical milestones
• Help drive process and program improvements in AQL mission performance and financial performance
• Oversee organization change management processes and facilitate growth opportunities
• Facilitate securing all option years awarded through superior performance.
• Serve as focal point within the local defense industry community through attendance at networking events to include: AFCEA, NDIA, WID, Global SOF, and SOFWeek; serve as brand amabassador for Peraton in Tampa 

Qualifications

 

Required qualifications:

• Minimum of 12 years of experience
• An active DoD Security clearance at the TS clearance or higher level is required
• 5+ years in a Program/Operations management role in support of DoD programs at the COCOM or similar level to include a minimum of 5 years of experience managing complex projects in an enterprise level IT environment including managing and leading geographically dispersed staff of varying skill levels (JR, JNY, SR, SME) that operate 24x7x365.
• ITIL Foundation Certifications
• Candidate must be local to Tampa market - no remote/telecommute 

Desired qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Business Management/Operations or a similar field
• DoD 8570 IAM Level II Certification
• Prior USSOCOM experience supporting the J6 - Active Duty, Gov't civilian, or DoD contractor

Target Salary Range

$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
