For more information, visit www.rbis.averydennison.com.</p><h3>Job Description</h3><ul><li>Understand supply market of Raw material to produce garments tag. </li><li>Develop new Suppliers from different regions.</li><li>Negotiate with suppliers to maximize the value i.e price, quality, payment/delivery terms &amp; conditions .</li><li>Suppliers offer collection, make comparison and do the financial validation.</li><li>Understand &amp; calculate total cost of End to End sourcing.</li><li>Supplier performance measurement &amp; evaluation. </li><li>Generate savings through product and process reengineering.</li><li>Complete required documents &amp; procedure for purchases as per SOP &amp; Audit requirement.</li><li>Comparing items requested to the master list; clarifying unclear items; recommending alternatives.</li><li>Verifying specifications and price; obtaining recommendations from suppliers for substitute items</li><li>Different report preparation and analysis based on purchase data.</li><li>Strictly follow the procurement process and policy.</li><li>Performs ad hoc basis job duties as required.</li></ul><p><strong><u>Other Responsibilities: </u></strong></p><ul><li>Coordinate with SC sub functions i.e. Demand Planning, Production Planning, Warehouse &amp; Import team to maintain SC efficiency.</li><li>Liaise cross functional teams i.e. GPD, Manufacturing, Sales, Finance to meet business requirements i.e. New RBO, production deployment etc.</li><li>Maintain records as required by process and policy </li><li>Maintain records of purchases and specifications of material/goods ordered.</li><li>Manage, maintain timely reporting as per business requirements</li></ul><p><strong>NOTE:</strong> Secondary workstation will be Factory, as the position required frequent visit at factory also.</p><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Business Graduate from any reputed university preferably with a major in SC, Operation Management. ( Prefer - tech savvy) </li><li>Minimum 2 to 3  years working experience in procurement function of any reputed organization.</li><li>Excellent speaking and writing skills in both English and Bangla.</li><li>Computer literacy with working knowledge of MS Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.</li><li>Effective written and interpersonal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to communicate with all levels of personnel.</li><li>Strong Analytical, interpersonal and managerial skills.</li><li>Immaculate credentials on honesty &amp; integrity with a solid track record.</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p><br/> All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.</p>
