Senior Microsoft Cloud Consultant

• Ability to ask open ended questions to understand customer pain points and make recommendations that solve their known and unknown needs
• Mentor, coach, and train consultants to skill up in areas needed to improve their skillset
  • Microsoft 365 environments including Windows, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Teams, OneDrive, Hybrid Exchange, Exchange Online, and associated features
  • Azure Active Directory environment, including Azure AD Conditional Access, Azure Identity Protection, PIM, Access Reviews, Access Packages, MFA and SSO
  • Active Directory Federation Services environment
  • Microsoft security tools such as the Microsoft Defender Suite and Azure Sentinel

• Document scoping and implementation best practices
• Design, implement and secure

• Manage advanced functions of Office365 including, but not limited to the Security, Governance and Compliance centers (e.g., DLP, IRM, E-Discovery, In-Place Hold, Retention Tags, mail flow rules, quarantine and encryption, transport rules, black and whitelisting, connection filtering, spam filtering, etc)
• Support incidents resulting from a deployment with collaboration from the operations team to ensure knowledge and documentation is current and accurate
• Meet billable utilization targets
• Work with Sales and lead pre-sales scoping efforts for new projects and clients
• Serve as the project escalation point for your team's clients to ensure high quality deliverables, solutions, and client management on projects
• Ensure project deadlines and customer outcomes are achieved
• Stay current with technology through net new or renewing Microsoft certifications
• Lead R&D efforts on new product development to uncover new solutions to customer pain points

Requirements

• At least 5+ years of experience within multiple Office365 environments and Microsoft engagements
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Experience with implementation/configuration of Office365 messaging and collaboration tools
• Azure architecture and in-depth Azure management experience (tagging, security, administration, cost management, marketplace, etc)
• Advanced understanding of Active Directory and experience with Azure Active Directory, especially Azure Active Directory Connect and SSO
• Extensive Office365 security management related experience Hybrid Active Directory Environments (Azure Active Directory and On-Premise)
• Working in team-oriented, collaborative environments
• Demonstrated ability to investigate complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in- depth evaluation of variable factors from multiple solutions and/or disciplines
• Experience troubleshooting and identifying potential problems and making appropriate changes as necessary
• Experience creating technical documentation and communicating effectively in various written formats
• Demonstrated ability to provide guidance and leadership to less experienced technical team members, including delegating technical tasks, and at times resolving issues of poor technical execution without escalation
• Demonstrated presentation and communication skills, including effectively communicating one-on-one, and in small and large groups, using a variety of presentation methods to sustain the audiences’ engagement
• Demonstrated time management and organizational skills; ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong pre-sales experience required
• Exhibits prior and current technical expertise and the ability to learn new technology
• Experience designing and selling solutions in a managed services environment or experience operating within a 24x7 technical operations environment
• Understands technical and functional Microsoft design requirements
• Ability to manage multiple projects and recommend/implement effective solutions
• Experience as a billable consultant
