2025 Guardian Summer Intern, Cyber Security Assurance

Our 2025 Internship Program is a paid 10-week learning experience where you will be immersed in the daily environment of a thriving global financial services company.  You will gain invaluable industry and organizational knowledge through daily business interactions and job assignments, in addition to engaging in projects that directly affect our business, interact with senior leaders in conversational settings, and network with employees and interns across our offices. This 10-week internship provides you with realistic experiences and information of what it is like to work at Guardian.

Internship Dates:

The internship program will run from Monday, June 2, 2025- Friday, August 8, 2025.

You are:

A rising senior (graduation date of December 2025- June 2026) who is fueled by collaboration, able to listen and make quick decisions and thrive in a goal-oriented environment.

Location (housing is not provided):

• Bethlehem, PA

You have:

• A Computer Science background
• Familiarity with fundamental concepts in cybersecurity
• Practical involvement in cybersecurity, acquired through project work, coursework, or previous internship engagements
• Passionately aspiring to build a career in cybersecurity encompassing areas such as vulnerability management, configuration management, threat intelligence and red teaming
• Programming expertise in a scripting language or other light touch programming languages
• Ability to work effectively independently and in a fast-paced work environment

You will:

• Further explore and deepen my knowledge of vulnerability management, configuration management, threat intelligence and red teaming principles by shadowing security professionals.
• Quickly gather requirements and iteratively develop automated metrics, transitioning from manual processes to streamline solutions.
• Have the opportunity to work and learn from supportive leaders, mentors and team members across the organization who will help coach you as you develop your professional career.
• Learn about Guardian’s purpose, values, how we work, and our suite of product and service offerings
• Build a network of colleagues and have a sense of community with other interns and other parts of the business
• Think broadly and ask questions about data, facts and other information
• Be a self-starter – someone who enjoys “rolling up their sleeves and getting things done”, has high energy, strong work ethic, displays the ability to work independently, and is creative

Eligibility:

• Applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization. F-1 visa holders with Optional Practical Training (OPT) who will require H-1B status, TNs, or current H-1B visa holders will not be considered.  H1-B and green card sponsorship are not available for this position.
• You must be available for the full 10 weeks of the internship program.

Salary Range:

$20.00 - $35.00

The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
