Join our team now at Siemens Healthineers as a senior level Strategic Business Planner. This position is located at Hoffman Estates IL or Knoxville, TN, and relocation support will be provided to out-of-state candidates. The position can be accomplished in a hybrid work setting with some days at the office and some days remote.
Position Overview
Directs and presents consolidated long-range plans as a part of the company’s overall business plan. Directs markets and business research and competitor analysis. Directs analysis and evaluation of business segments, potential acquisition/joint venture candidates and prepares project proposals. Directs and prepares due diligence, especially commercial due diligence, of acquisition candidates. Directs strategic database management, design and related activities. Expert in the analysis of a global business scope for implementation plans based on the company’s objectives. Expert in developing and implementing market strategies.
This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional looking for the next step in their career. As a Strategic Business Planner, you will be responsible for the following:
- Lead or support strategic business initiatives as appropriate (e.g., M&A, business segment strategy projects, etc.)
- Lead analytical efforts as required for projects including long-term market development analysis, scenario analysis, and valuation
- Support the annual strategic planning process for the Molecular Imaging Business Line
Required skills to have for success in this role:
- Demonstrated structured thinking and problem solving in new situations
- Working knowledge of business management frameworks (e.g., issue-based problem solving, Pyramid Principle in writing and thinking, value chain/stream analysis)
- Strong business acumen and strong analytical skills – ability to develop and manage complex analytical models
- Some financial analysis knowledge
- Experience interacting closely with senior executives and leading diverse cross-functional teams to deliver high quality results
Education / Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- MBA highly preferred
- 7+ years in the healthcare industry experience is highly preferred
- 2 to 3 years plus experience (post-MBA) from a top management consulting firm is desired

The base pay range for this position is:
Min $141,340 - Max $212,000Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
