We are looking for a Front End Engineer to join an exciting new project team working to build a completely new, best in class product. Our team is fast paced, highly collaborative and is organized like a startup. As a Front End Engineer, you will be working with a unique and gifted team developing exciting products for customers and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key job responsibilities
• Implement best practices in modern software engineering: front-end application design, implementation, testing, version control, documentation, deployment, monitoring and operations
• Translate requirements into robust, efficient, supportable solutions that work well within the overall system architecture
• Write high-quality code and participate in design and code reviews to maintain our development standards
• Work with product and design teams to deliver and operate large scale, distributed services in the cloud
• Generate documentation to support regulatory requirements
• Encourage and support knowledge-sharing within team and external groups
• Mentor junior development engineers
• Implement test automation on all code implemented through unit testing and integration testing
We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:
Seattle, WA, USA
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- 3+ years industry software development experience with 2+ working on front-end applications
- Experience using modern web development technologies and techniques, including HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Responsive Design, web services, etc
- React or React Native Experience
- Strong computer science fundamentals in design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
- Experience building applications using Amazon web services
- Experience working in a regulated environment with design controls
- Knowledge of Application Security principles and how they impact development and deployment of applications
- Experience building large-scale web applications
- Strong customer focus, ownership, urgency and drive
- Experience with REST architecture for web services
- Experience writing testable code and automating test regressions

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $115,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- 3+ years industry software development experience with 2+ working on front-end applications

- Experience developing with React Native on iOS and Android mobile platforms.- Strong computer science fundamentals in design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis.
