Job Description
The purpose of this role is to lead the enterprise data management and architecture capability of the company by establishing and maintaining the data management frameworks, guardrails, standards and conceptual and logical data models for Enterprise Data. Reporting directly to the Chief Data Officer, International markets. Serves a bridge between business operations, global domain process owners and stewards, and technology, ensuring business outcomes are delivered.
Responsibilities:
Enterprise Data Architecture
• Conceptual Data model for the Enterprise Data
• Logical Data model for the Enterprise Data
• Work directly with the Business Platforms Strategy & Architecture lead tying the physical data models from Global Business Platforms to the logical model
• Key delegate to Process Blueprinting from Data Transformation Office
• Key supporter of ensuring the business glossary and data architecture information is complete and up to date in Collibra
• Participate and provide guidance to the MDM data team regarding Data Product creation and ongoing maintenance
Leadership
• Maintain up to date point of view on the data platform landscape.
• Interface and collaborate with other leaders across the organization.
• Build strong internal relationships with executives, and SVP/EVP/C-level leadership.
• Align Enterprise Data Management principles/concepts to corporate goals.
Communications
• Contribute articles and blogs sharing your point of view on various identity concepts.
• Collaborate with dentsu’s change management and training team on new changes/features, case studies, and other data topics.
• Participate in webinars and other speaking engagements to spread your and dentsu’s point of view on enterprise data.
Qualifications
• 15+ years of experience in leading enterprise data management programs and teams
• Experience with master data management (MDM) concepts.
• Exceptional understanding of data management and data governance concepts
• Experience with one or more leading enterprise data platforms (e.g. Microsoft Azure Fabric, Snowflake, Databricks, etc.)
• Exceptional leadership skills and management experience, demonstrated through staff development and implementation of exemplary processes.
• Excellent and comprehensive understanding of the enterprise data industry landscape
• Technical understanding of enterprise data platforms (EDP / EDW, Data Lakehouse, Data Fabric, Data Mesh), data virtualization/data distribution and integration, enterprise reporting and analytics platforms, and social platforms
• Success with influencing globally distributed teams, fostering a culture of collaboration among team members.
• Excellent record of maintaining multiple data platforms engagements at once and scaling operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
Additional Information
The anticipated salary range for this position is $163,000 - $263,350. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law.
