Job Description Summary:
The Sr product manager will beResponsible for development and implementation on new real time streaming data capabilities for Analytics related products and services from gathering and prioritizing customer requirements, creating and managing product roadmap, creating architecture artifacts, and working closely with engineering teams to ensure successful launch of new products.Job Description:
- Driving product strategy and creating capabilities that application teams can leverage to have a direct impact on PayPal end user experience
- Working cross-functionally (with global BUs, engineering, and design) and developing strong relationships that help build trust with key partner teams
- Evangelizing product roadmap internally and externally in informal and formal settings
- Running lean experiments to inform future investment areas
- Continuously collect customer feedback to further improve the platform and products
- Test the new products by utilizing the experience in database management, data steaming services, data analytics and visualization.
- Experience in building products by ensuring the right Data quality, governance and data security and regulatory policies are accounted.
- Working closely with payments, Identity, sales and cross functional teams by creating training materials to help onboard new customers.
- Monitor product performance and feedback to drive regular optimizations and improvements.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, project management skills are a must.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in technical Product management.
- At least 2-3 years working as a product manager in a data platform/infrastructure organization.
- Expertise in real time and near Realtime services development with large scale of data as a practitioner or product owner
- Experience working closely with product development teams, infrastructure teams, database, and system administrators
- Passion to identify problems to solve, and to define the platform features which can solve those problems
- BA/BS in CS preferred.
