Senior Security Architect's with IAM expertise at GuidePoint Security are experienced professionals who are autonomous, experienced, self-driven security fanatics. Our consultants are materially involved in the complete security technologies opportunity lifecycle, from pre-sales through delivery and have the freedom and control over how engagements are scoped and delivered. They are subject matter experts in IAM engineering and delivery, responsible for architecting, designing, and implementing a variety of identity and access management solutions. Additional project duties include gathering, defining, and refining of client requirements, solution design, creation of technical documentation, and development of customized security components.

Role and responsibilities:
- Participate in discussions on IAM architecture, process, and governance development.
- Develop deployment and implementation methodology and standards consistent with vendor best practices.
- Install, integrate, configure, deploy and architect IAM solutions and systems to facilitate User Life-Cycle Management, Identity and Access Governance, Automated Provisioning, Single Sign-On, Federation, Privileged Account Management.
- Transcribe and present technical information to business / executive levels.
- Develop and execute test cases and test plans for IAM solutions.
- Work directly with clients to develop and refine requirements for new installs, upgrades, re-implementations, and feature enhancements.
- Prioritize and execute on tasks required for solution delivery on new installations, upgrades, feature enhancements, re-implementations, and at-risk projects.
- Understand and explain the concepts central to IAM and relevant to enterprise implementations including identity, identity lifecycle, identity governance, access, authorization, directory, and entitlements.
- Work directly with clients and sales engineers to scope and level projects, perform functional analysis, identify assumptions, and assist in the creation of proposals.
- Assist in the design and production of technical documentation, including product deployment and configuration documents.
- A good listener with ability to work with clients to understand issues/gaps in their security programs and works alongside them to provide solutions \
- Proactively research and engage emerging vendors and technologies to understand how they may be used to solve our clients’ challenges.
- Excellent soft skills with the ability to articulate complex technical content to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proactively works to mature the business, including improving existing offerings and creating new offerings.
- Author comprehensive business and technical collateral to support the business that is proficiently tailored to both technical and managerial audiences.
- Expectation for this role is 50% General Security Presales and 50% IAM delivery.
- Position is remote/virtual; however, candidates must reside locally within the Northwest Region and open to travel when necessary for events and company meetings.
- Candidates must demonstrate flexibility for supporting customers in multiple time zones.
Required Experience:
- Minimum 5 years in an enterprise level security consultative, vendor, or operational role building and assessing Information Security architectures, and IAM programs.
- Deep proficiency in multiple security technologies, including Network Security, NGFW, Cloud Security, DLP, CASB, Proxy, IAM, SIEM/Analytics, etc.
- Deep expertise architecting and designing enterprise scale security solutions.
- Strong networking and security troubleshooting
- Deep proficiency in various client and server operating systems (Windows, Nix, OSX, etc.)
- Working technical knowledge of advanced security concepts (Zero trust, defense in depth, etc.)
- Experience building authentication modules within applications and web applications.
