Senior Strategic Consultant Purchasing- Steel Market (m/w/d)

Your Key Responsibilities

• Independent analysis and evaluation of complex data sets from quantitative and qualitative market research of the steel market 
• Derivation of strategic recommendations for the international purchasing organization to achieve our sustainability and budget goals, as well as to reduce the carbon footprint of our global production 
• Presentation of these recommendations to the purchasing management, top management, and the executive board 
• Creation of reports and decision templates for future-oriented strategies for management 
• Direct coordination and communication with all relevant stakeholders in the global purchasing organization, including advising them on continuous improvement of purchasing decisions in the steel sector 
• Independent observation and analysis of the global steel market to identify changes and trends 

Your Qualifications

• Successfully completed degree in business administration, industrial engineering, economics, or a comparable qualification 
• Professional experience, preferably in the international steel market or in the area of strategy consulting for stakeholders in the steel market 
• Experience in communication and presentation to senior management and C-level executives
• Understanding of macroeconomics and international politics 
• Very good knowledge of common MS Office applications, especially Excel are advantageous
• Strong communication skills, high solution orientation, conflict management, assertiveness, and self-initiative 
• Fluent skills in English, both spoken and written, with good knowledge of German being an advantage
