Position Summary
The Service Partnership Group (SPG) is looking for a Business Strategy and Operations Manager to drive operational efforts across the Samsung Services business. SPG handles all the partnerships and revenues associated with the TV, mobile, and gaming ecosystems. The Business Strategy and Operations Manager will build and execute core partnership operational processes, team operations, executive communications, and reporting to drive operational efficiency and visibility. In this role, the Business Strategy and Operations Manager will be responsible for a broad spectrum of business critical projects. The position will require working closely with teams across the organization to understand issues and drive solutions quickly.The ideal candidate is self-motivated, analytical, and solutions-focused, able to unravel internal complexity, navigate the organization, and quickly understand the business. The position will require excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to drive close collaboration with all business areas. The Business Strategy and Operations Manager must be a self-starter and be comfortable working under tight timeframes in a fast-paced environment.

- Partner & collaborate with each function of the Service Partnership Group to maintain operational visibility, reporting KPIs to the leadership team.
- Build and formally document scalable processes and systems (including Salesforce, Jira, Confluence, and Slack) across teams to drive operational efficiency. Ensure adoption of processes and systems, and define expected results.
- Provide planning, budgeting, and forecasting for business operations.
- Manage and prepare regular executive communications and updates (Weekly Reports, Presentations, Annual Reviews, as needed).
- Own team key performance indicators by working closely with the Insights and Analytics team on synthesizing and communicating business, team, and partner performance, benchmarking against the competitive landscape.
- Facilitate team operations, including managing key resource pages, and leading team leadership meetings and workshops.
- Manage a strong knowledge and understanding of all internal systems.
- Coordinate with supporting functions across the organization, including finance, legal, and other business units, as necessary to drive team goals.
- Oversee projects by managing overall coordination, communication, and relationships with the ability to escalate issues when necessary. Maintain and communicate milestones and anticipate potential risks.

- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
- Minimum of 6+ years of relevant experience in either business strategy, partnership operations, consulting, or an adjacent field.
- Self-motivated, assertive, analytical, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced quantitative and qualitative skills and a passion for diving into complex concepts
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office, Salesforce, and other operations tools/dashboards
- Exceptional verbal and communications skills
- Project management experience
Compensation for this role, for candidates based in Mountain View, CA, is expected to be between $125,000 ~ $155,000. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
