Job Description

Role: Senior Project Manager (SAP BW/HANA)
Location: Hybrid/Remote and Onshore, (may require event-based travel to Oakland HQ or San Ramon Offices)
Duration: 12 months

Job Description
Responsible for and drives the implementation and migration of highly complex business intelligence solutions with SAP BusinessObjects BI Suite, SAP BW4HANA, and other platforms. Responsible for all aspects of project delivery including estimation, planning, design, development, configuration, testing, deployment, and support.
Manages a system integrator team of SAP business intelligence professionals.
Manages and evaluates the activities of one or more assigned projects and personnel to obtain optimum results and maximize efficient utilization of manpower.
Strong Project Management skills.
Desired PMP certified.
Should have been hands-on in the past 3-5 years.
Analyzes, defines, and presents projects in terms of business objectives.
Develops and facilitates presentations to communicate new methods/ideas and to describe new systems.
Works frequently with senior management, various board and steering committees, functional leaders, and individual team leaders.
Drives SAP business intelligence-related projects and the organization toward achieving the intended business results.
Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Business, Math, Engineering, or related field required.
Eight (8) years minimum of business or technical experience utilizing SAP applications and business intelligence tools is required.
Five (5) years minimum of project management experience and/or leading teams in resolving implementations or business impact issues is required.
Direct experience managing and delivering an SAP BW to BW on HANA or BW4HANA project is preferred.
Experience with SAP BI Suite and associated tools required.
Mastery of reporting and analytics methodologies required.
Mastery of data warehousing and business intelligence concepts and their practical application required.
Demonstrated ability to assume full responsibility of several projects that may span multiple departments and systems required.
Knowledge of I/S methodologies and a project’s impact on the company required.
