Consulting, Project Delivery Specialist

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Project Delivery Specialist in Charlotte, North Carolina and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do
Drive software testing and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of big technology investments, ranging from requirements to architecture, design to development, testing to deployment, and beyond as discrete services or comprehensive solutions in the insurance, financial services, healthcare, state and local government, telecom, and retail industries. Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities; understand business use cases and draft test cases that describe system requirements, entry criteria, and exit criteria. Define systems strategy, develop system requirements, design, prototype, and test custom technology solutions, and support system implementation. Participate in setting engagement objectives and scope, developing work plans for components of engagements, and coordinating activities between workstreams and identifying changes in scope. Research user reported issues, identify root causes and resolutions, implement fixes, and liaise between business functions, end users, and technical delivery teams. Drive test estimation, test planning, test design, test execution, test reporting as well as coordinate testing and test artifacts across all phases of testing.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 2 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires 2 years of related work experience in each of the following:
• Performing assessments of existing information systems and identifying gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities, utilizing Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM), and Agile, Waterfall methodologies;
• Performing testing of sub-components of larger application systems, integrating the applications with each other, and continuously optimizing the system structure to improve stability and performance, utilizing complex logical and physical designs, Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD), class diagrams, and design specifications;
• Performing System, Integration, and Automation testing for Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE) and Extensible Markup Language (XML) utilizing Agile and Waterfall methodology solutions;
• Designing test plans and drafts and executing test cases using Microsoft (MS) Azure DevOps and Team Foundation Server (TFS);
• Creating test scripts, plans, and cases, logging defects, and generating test execution reports utilizing using Azure DevOps, TFS, Visual Studio Code (VS Code), IBM Rational Quality Manager (RQM), and Rational Team Concert (RTC), and Atlassian Jira;
• Executing automated testing utilizing J2EE, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Test-Driven Development (TDD), and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) models with Selenium; and
• Performing analysis and testing of interfaces using Simple Object Access Protocol User Interface (SoapUI), Representational State Transfer (REST) Application Programming Interface (API), Windows Secure Copy (WinSCP), UniViewer Console, and File Transfer Protocol (FTP).
