CNATRA CeTARS Quality Control

Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented CeTARS Quality Control Specialist to support the Chief of Naval Air Training (CNATRA) in maintaining the integrity and accuracy of training data within the Corporate Enterprise Training Activity Resource Systems (CeTARS). This role is crucial in ensuring the reliability of training records and supporting the effective management of naval aviation training pipelines.

As the CNATRA CeTARS Quality Control Specialist, you will:

• Oversee the quality assurance process for all CeTARS data entries related to CNATRA training activities
• Conduct regular audits of CeTARS data to identify inconsistencies, errors, or areas for improvement
• Develop and implement quality control procedures to minimize data entry errors and ensure data integrity
• Serve as the primary point of contact for CeTARS-related issues within CNATRA
• Collaborate with CNATRA N7 staff to address identified collection source errors and implement corrective measures
• Provide training and guidance to CeTARS users across CNATRA commands to improve data entry accuracy and consistency
• Generate and analyze reports from CeTARS to identify trends, anomalies, or potential issues in data quality
• Coordinate with the Naval Education and Training Professional Development and Technology Center (NETPDTC) to resolve CeTARS data and programming issues
• Ensure alignment between CeTARS data and other CNATRA systems, such as NIPDR and T-SHARP
• Develop and maintain documentation on CeTARS quality control processes and best practices
• Provide regular status updates and recommendations for improving data quality to CNATRA leadership
• Stay current with updates to CeTARS and related systems, ensuring that quality control processes evolve accordingly

Requirements

Detailed Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Management, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data quality control, preferably with CeTARS or similar military training management systems
• In-depth knowledge of CeTARS functionality, structure, and reporting capabilities
• Strong understanding of naval aviation training processes and terminology
• Expertise in data analysis and quality assurance methodologies
• Proficiency in using Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE) or similar reporting tools
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis software
• Experience in developing and implementing data quality control procedures
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex data issues
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Must be eligible for a Secret security clearance
• Flexibility to adapt to changing data management needs and system updates
