Title: Corporate Senior Accountant

Location: Atlanta, GA

Responsibilities

The Corporate Senior Accountant will be a key member of the corporate controllers group with an opportunity to interpret and apply complex accounting rules to a range of various accounting duties in support of the broader Finance and Accounting Team.  General duties will include ad-hoc projects, compiling and analyzing data, preparing or reviewing accounting schedules and journal entries, preparing financial statement disclosure schedules, and working cross-functionally across the organization with teams around the world.  This role is an excellent position in corporate accounting to learn the business, develop leadership skills, and access career advancement opportunities at NCR Voyix.

• Prepare recurring and adjusting journal entries, reviewing transactions and monthly/quarterly corporate accounting tasks
• Prepare certain balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries to support the monthly and quarterly close processes
• Assist in the preparation of the Company’s external financial reports, including all 10-Q’s, 10-K’s and certain 8-K’s filed with he Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”)
• Support the Investor Relations function with the preparation and accuracy of publicly shared materials, such as press releases and corresponding exhibits, investor presentations and other supporting materials
• Prepare lease accounting schedules, ensuring compliance under US GAAP
• Identify and implement process improvements for the corporate accounting areas, including opportunities for automation
• Ensure relevant processes stay in compliance with internal policies and SOX controls, including maintaining adequate documentation of control performance
• Initiate and lead ad hoc projects with minimal supervision
• Research and review transactions in the general ledger to validate compliance with US GAAP and the Company’s policies
• Liaise with our external auditors, working closely to coordinate the Company’s quarterly reviews and annual audits
• Foster and build teamwork between the finance, accounting and operating functions
