Job Overview:

The Vice President of Relationship Management - Summit is a true advocate and partner for our largest independent advisors.  Serving as an internal advocate for independent advisory practices with $400m in assets under management or greater, this role is responsible for retention and satisfaction of LPL’s most sophisticated clients.  Our Relationship Management team partners strategically with our clients, aligning the right resources at the right time to drive overall advisor satisfaction, retention and growth within LPL. 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a territory of top tier independent advisors

  • Responsible for near and long term advisor and asset retention

  • Drive increased advisor engagement and satisfaction

  • Navigate the complexities of competing advisor affiliation and engagement models

  • Develop strategic and tactical business planning with practices, connecting them to the right tools, products and solutions

  • Coordinate client problem-solving with our best-in-industry Client Success Pod support team

  • Deliver a white glove relationship management experience

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field

  • Minimum 7 years of Financial Services experience

  • Series 7/63/65 (or 66) required (or must be secured within first 12 months of employment)

  • Up to 35% travel may be required

Core Competencies:

  • Client focused relationship management experience with a demonstrated ability for strategy development, business planning and negotiation

  • Excellent executive level communication capabilities, advocating and collaborating with internal cross functional leadership as well as business owners.

  • Complex problem solving skills, knowledge of platforms and products relevant to investment advisors and registered representatives

Pay Range:

$129,394-$215,656/year


 

Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
