ms consultants, inc. is actively seeking a Senior Engineer/Project Manager for immediate employment in our Youngstown, Ohio office.  The successful candidate will support the Water practice area in managing projects and serving on project teams planning and designing water and wastewater focused infrastructure for public works and privately owned projects.

What You'll Do:

This role will serve as an integral member of the Water Business Unit. Our services include planning, management, design, analysis, and permitting for maintaining these essential systems. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to manage multi-million dollar projects and will be responsible for the following:

• Perform Project Management duties on specific projects as necessary.
• Planning and execution of projects assigned to the water group.
• Provide expertise to other company practice area.
• Manage design tasks, client interactions and perform engineering assignments requiring application of engineering techniques, procedures and criteria.
• Perform work which may include a variety of complex features such as conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials and difficult coordination requirements.
• Prepare contract plans, specifications and supporting work including calculations, hydraulic analyses, etc.
• Meeting regularly with clients to monitor and maintain satisfaction on all projects.
• Ensuring that assigned projects are executed and completed on time and within budget.
• Coordinating QA/QC reviews of project deliverables with technical staff.
• Supervises and supports the work of others and mentors junior level engineer & design/drafting technical staff.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• BS in Engineering from an ABET accredited college or university or equivalent experience
• PE with experience in engineering and project management
• Capable of using spreadsheet, word processing and standard office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project).
