About the role
About the Internship The Tunnels, Bridges & Terminals (TB&T) Department is looking for an intern to join their Technical & Maintenance Services team. Responsibilities
- Review facility condition survey reports, assist in preparing various repair & ratings logs.
- Asist in Right of Entry Application and Tenant Construction & Alteration Process.
- Analyze facility maintenance data for TB&T Asset Management Group.
- Enrollment at a college/university through Summer 2025 and into the Fall 2025 semester
- Major in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Solid knowledge of civil/structural engineering is preferred
- Past internship experience in civil/structural engineering field is a plus
- Experience with Microsoft apps such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, etc.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Willingness to learn new knowledge and technical skills
- Interest in public service and/or transportation
- The start date will be Thursday, May 29, 2025
- The internship will last approximately 12 weeks, ending on Friday, August 22, 2025
- This is a full-time internship (5 days per week at 7.25 hours per day)
- The format is expected to be hybrid

- The hourly rate range is $17.63 to $29.57 (the exact rate will be determined by internship type and rising school year)
