<p>Job Title</p>Senior Software Development Engineer<h1>Business Environment</h1><p></p><p>The Configuration Frameworks and Data Distribution (CFD) department plays a key role in organization, focusing on Data Distribution (Internal and External), Configuration Frameworks (Business Rules Engines, Application Settings and Feature Flags) and SLA/Billing.</p><p>Within this department, the Data Distribution Suite (DDS) team provides the standard solutions to be used for External Data Distribution (i.e. secure data exchange between internal and external parties through various channels – SFTP, HTTP, Secured URL, Secured Portal, etc...):</p><ul><li><p>Amadeus Data Distribution Suite (ADDS), providing a portfolio of functionalities allowing to setup, configure and orchestrate the file transfers between Amadeus applications and any kind of Amadeus external customer, provider or partner, over different protocols and supporting all technology stacks, including CNA (Cloud-Native Applications).</p></li><li><p>S-Filer, a third-party software specialized in Inbound and Outbound SFTP and providing a web-portal for human users to download/upload files from/to Amadeus.</p></li></ul><p></p><h1>Purpose</h1><p></p><p>File Transfers are at the heart of our business, from files received from other GDS, to “application to application” file sharing, to invoices and reports sent to our various customers and partners. With this in mind and driven by a strong will to provide a futureproof Self-service Platform, the Amadeus Data Distribution Suite (ADDS) was born, encompassing both Legacy Data Distributions channels (such as SFTP) and new cloud storages (Cloud Service Providers Object Storage, secured URLs, …). In a matter of years, it evolved from a Finance-focused platform to a Global platform handling millions of file transfers per day.</p><p>As part of the acceleration of ADDS and the change of paradigm introduced by the Cloud, we must make the ADDS evolving; This will be done by gradually making our platform fully Cloud-native, leveraging key components of the Amadeus Cloud Platforms and working closely with them to tackle the challenges that come with such high volumes.</p><p>The road ahead will be full of challenges; if you are eager to work in a team fully dedicated to Customer Satisfaction and highly enthusiast with regards to the move to the Cloud, you are at the right place!</p><p></p><h1>Your Main Responsibilities</h1><ul><li><p>Drive the technical design of new features and produce technical and architectural studies.</p></li><li><p>Participate to the development of new features according to highest quality standards and in respect of Amadeus compliancy and security guidelines.</p></li><li><p>Implement and automate the appropriate level of unit-testing and code-quality tooling to ensure maintaining high level of software quality.</p></li><li><p>Participate actively to technical requirements reviews, feasibility studies, identifying dependencies and improvements.</p></li><li><p>Support the end users in production by performing and coordinating the investigation and recovery activities.</p></li><li><p>Ensure adoption and improvement of development tools &amp; environment: promote existing ones, assess them and recommend improvements with the aim to encourage common tools to avoid duplications.</p></li><li><p>Communicate and collaborate in an open and constructive manner with all the stakeholders (PDA, QA, Management, PO, train leaders…)</p></li></ul><p></p><h1>About the ideal candidate ​</h1><ul><li><p>Experience with Java Software Development</p></li><li><p>Experience with Unix/Linux systems and shell.</p></li><li><p>Experience with Oracle</p></li><li><p>Experience with Datastores</p></li><li><p>Experience with CI/CD (Jenkins Pipeline, Artifactory, …)</p></li><li><p>Experience with Cloud Computing (Docker, Openshift, …) and Helm Packaging</p></li><li><p>The capability to work in a multicultural, global environment.</p></li><li><p>Good relational skills and team spirit</p></li><li><p>Passion about cutting edge technology and staying current with industry trends.</p></li><li><p>Keen at learning new technologies: curiosity and openness are a must.</p></li><li><p>Great problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and solve issues before they evolve into big incidents.</p></li><li><p>Embracing agile methodology.</p></li><li><p>University degree in Computer Sciences, Software Engineering or equivalent work experience.</p></li></ul><p></p><h1>What we can offer you </h1><ul><li><p>Be rewarded with a competitive remuneration, an individual and company bonus and enjoy many benefits. </p></li><li><p>Work from anywhere: Flexible teleworking from 1 to 3 days per week.
